Acceleration is awarded to schools when students successfully earn college credit through CollegeBoard Advanced Placement® (AP), Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education® (AICE), International Baccalaureate® Diploma Programme™ (IBDP), or Dual Enrollment (DE) courses.
Students may also earn acceleration credit by obtaining industry certifications through Career And Professional Education (CAPE) coursework or by demonstrating military readiness as measured by the ASVAB assessment.
The data in the chart represents the percentage of seniors who graduated having earned some form of acceleration through one or more of the programs listed above.
